Welcome to Carnoustie Physiotherapy's new website - we are currently updating the site and you will see lots of changes in the near future - If you need to get in touch go to Contact Us
July 2021
As healthcare is classed as an essential service, we will continue to operate, following our strict COVID protocols and we still need to keep up with the face masks and aprons However, as before, please do not attend the clinic if if you have a new persistent cough, high temperature or altered sense of taste/smell, or have been in contact within the last two weeks with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID.
The way we work has had to change a bit due to the current situation, but we are now able to offer a virtual appointment via video call or a face-to-face appointment.
What to expect.
Once you have contacted us, you will receive a phone call back where we will have a 20 minute chat about your condition, what symptoms are having and then carry out a COVID-19 screening questionnaire. After this we will then discuss which type of appointment is appropriate for you.
Virtual Appointments
~If we agree on a virtual appointment your physiotherapist to phone you at the appointment time via WhatsApp, FaceTime, Skype or Zoom.
~It might be helpful for a family member to help with the camera angles if we need them.
~We can carry out the assessment via this method and show you the appropriate exercises for you to try.
~Payment can be made by bank transfer (BACS)
Face-to-face
~We ask you to attend the inside of the clinic alone (unless prearranged with ourselves) ~We will ask you to remain in your vehicle until two minutes before your appointment time and then please ring the bell and come into the waiting room as usual.
