Appointments and Costs
You don’t need a doctor’s referral if you are planning to have Physiotherapy treatments. However, if you’re planning to claim on private health insurance we recommend you contact your insurer before booking an appointment, as they may require referral by a medical practitioner in order to authorise reimbursement of treatment charges.
All physiotherapists at Carnoustie Physiotherapy are registered with the relevant professional bodies such as HPC (Health Professions Council) and CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy)
We are also recognised by all the major insurance companies such as AXA, PPP, PruHealth and AVIVA.
If you are claiming on private medical insurance please ensure you have the following details with you:
By providing us with these details, we will then be able to invoice your insurers directly and insurers will then pay the clinic directly.
Please note that some insurance policies have an excess. If this is the case, your insurer will inform us and we will contact you directly for prompt payment.
